Admissions Process & Forms

Thank you for your interest in St. Anthony of Padua School! Registration for new students will open on January 11, 2021. All applications must be submitted through the Diocese of Arlington Enrollment website (Click here for Spanish).  Please note a $50 application fee is required for all applications. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS/FEES

Below are the various forms needed as part of the application process:

  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Baptismal Certificate (if Catholic)
  3. Copy of military ID for active military families who are non-Catholic
  4. VA School Entrance Health Form
  5. Student Evaluation Form/Previous school records
  6. Parish Verification Form (English & Spanish) – Required if applying for the Catholic tuition rate

A $50 application fee is required for each application. Please note that an application will not be reviewed by school administration until the application fee has been paid. Once the student has been accepted, there is a $400 registration fee per student which secures their spot in the class.

VIRGINIA SCHOOL ENTRANCE HEALTH FORM

The Virginia School Entrance Health Form is required for all new students. This form must be completed no longer than one year before your child’s first day of school at St. Anthony of Padua.  For the safety of the rest of our students and faculty, students without complete medical records must be excluded from school until records are completed.

TUITION ASSISTANCE

All Catholic families in the Diocese of Arlington with students registered for the 2021-2022 school year in grades K-8 are eligible to apply for tuition assistance. Families must apply online for tuition assistance at www.factstuitionaid.com by February 22, 2021. To avoid a delay in processing your application, you must apply online. STUDENT EVALUATION FORM

Download this form to submit to the student’s current school to release all school records and for the school to give an evaluation of the student. Parents must complete the top part of the form and sign it before giving it to the student’s current school.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

There are two additional steps in the application process. First, St. Anthony of Padua School must assess a student’s English oral and written skill level and grade placement. Then if the student is accepted, an I-20 form must be completed by the family and the accepted diocesan school. The school then submits the application to the Diocese which processes the I-20 request which takes about one week.
