Ms. Nora Buçaj

Ms. Buçaj has been dedicated to Catholic education since 2003. She served as a classroom teacher, assistant campus minister, dean of students, and assistant principal before being appointed as the principal of St. Anthony of Padua School in July 2017. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Master of Science in teaching from Pace University. In December 2019, Ms. Buçaj earned her Master of Education in administration and supervision from Marymount University.

Ms. Buçaj is originally from New York and has been a part of our diocese since July 2015.  She moved to Virginia to be closer to her family. She attributes her calling to education to St. John Paul II.  After having attended a World Youth Day while in college with our late Holy Father, she felt a call to serve others.  This call is what drives her to serve our community and steers her towards local and international missions. During her free time, Ms. Buçaj enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew.
