Ms. Lendy Hernandez
Teacher: Preschool 4 Year Olds
Mrs. Lendy Hernandez joined St. Anthony School in 2019. She is one of our two Pre-K4 teachers. She was born in El Salvador and moved with her family to Miami, Florida, when she was 15 years old. She feels teaching is her vocation, and she loves working with children in a fun and safe environment.
Mrs. Hernandez has an AA in Early Childhood Education from Miami Dade College, and she has been working in the Early Childhood field since 1999. She first worked in Miami for a private Catholic school. In 2011, she moved to Colorado where she worked for a non-profit school with the Head Start Program. The following year she moved to Virginia to be closer to her family, and she worked for KinderCare Education and Bright Horizons in Washington DC.
Mrs. Hernandez has been an active parishioner of St. Anthony’s since 2012. She is involved in many ministries, is a Lector and a Catechist, as well as working with the parish youth and assisting in the Church’s festivals.
Mrs. Hernandez has two children, and on her free time she enjoys volunteering at the church and spending time with the family in her spare time.
