Teacher: Preschool 3 Year Olds
Mrs. Gaviria was born in Colombia, South America. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to work in a Catholic school in the United States, introducing the love of the Lord to her students at such a young age.
Mrs. Gaviria earned her college degree from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogota, Colombia. She moved to the U.S. in 2002. She worked for Fairfax County Schools for eight years prior to obtaining her Early Childhood certification, which gave her the opportunity to become a pre-school teacher at St. Philip Early Childhood Center for four years.
Her goal as a teacher at St. Anthony of Padua is to create a loving and long lasting relationship with each and every student by creating a safe, fun and inspiring classroom environment. Being herself the mother of two beautiful children, Mrs. G. has always considered her students as members of her extended family, occupying a special place in her heart during the school year and many more years into the future. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, travel, explore the outdoors and look for cool new ways to bring parts of the world into her classroom in any way she can.
